JAY — June A. Dyer, 68, a resident of Jay, died peacefully Monday, July 29, at her residence with her niece and friends by her side.
She was born Nov. 1, 1944, in Jay, the daughter of Merle and Alice (Raymond) Dyer. She was a 1964 graduate of Jay High School and worked for Norwalk Shoe in North Jay and Forster Manufacturing in Wilton.
June loved spending time with family and friends and going to the VFW on Friday nights, as well as other country music outings.
She is survived by her nieces, Marie Gould, Lisa Young and Amie Dyer; her nephew, Dennis Gould; and friends and caregivers, Linda Fournier and Barbara Fortier.
She was predeceased by her sister, Irene Gould; and her brother, Richard “Red” Dyer.
