The Jesus Party Urban Youth Outreach has received a donation of 200 backpacks from Communications Technologies Inc. of Falmouth. Ministry director Rev. Douglas Taylor and Ward 5 School Committee representative Sonia Taylor, pictured above, will distribute the backpacks in front of the Jesus Party Headquarters, 291 Bates St., Lewiston, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, to school-age children.
