RANGELEY — The Rangeley Lakes Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will hold its 10th annual dinner and auction Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Rangeley Inn.

Social hour and a silent auction begin at 5 p.m.

A buffet dinner cooked by chef Dave Bowman will be served at 7 p.m. The menu includes New York strip steak, lemon chicken with piccata sauce, stuffed sole with crab meat and scallops, mixed vegetables, beans and lemon rice.

The auction will take place at 8 p.m. There will be raffles, 50/50, lady’s table, greenwing table, gun raffles and more.

Purchase early bird tickets and get $100 in raffle tickets plus $60 free. 50/50 (3 for $20) before the event.

Cost is $55 for individuals, $85 for couples with membership, and $30 for under 18 with membership.

Ducks Unlimited is an organization of mostly volunteers that get donations to raise money to purchase wetlands for the preservation of wildlife in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Various projects are done to improve the quality of wetlands for all living things.
