1933 – 2013

AUBURN — Wayne A. Wrenn, 79, of Lisbon, died Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Hospice House in Auburn, with his cousin, James A. Ross, by his side.

He was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Lisbon Falls, the son of John and Kathryn (Goddard) Wrenn Bailey. He attended Lisbon High School but did not graduate. He went on to enlist in the U.S. Coast Guard, trained at Cape May, N.J. and subsequently was assigned to Boston, Mass., and Sitka, Alaska.

He was married to Mary Marks in Sitka, Alaska, and they had eight children: daughters, Sabrina, Monique, Camille and Suzette; and sons, Wayne Jr., Frank, Anthony and Aaron.

Wayne later married Sandra K. Wrenn in Portland, Ore. When Sandra passed away, he relocated to Lewiston and was reunited with his high school sweetheart, Jeanette, after 51 years. They enjoyed five years together before her death.

He is survived by seven of his children; brother, Albert L. Wrenn; special cousin, James A. Ross; aunt, Virginia Tardiff; and many grandchildren and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents,  John and Kathryn (Goddard) Wrenn Bailey; brother, John Arnold Wrenn, both of his wives; his Jeanette; and one son.

He is now on his journey to be with his one true love, Jeanette, in heaven. Bon voyage, brother.
