LEWISTON — Jordan M. Kurta, M.D., a urologist, has been appointed to the Central Maine Medical Center medical staff. He is practicing at the Central Maine Urology Center in Lewiston.
Before joining the greater Lewiston-Auburn medical community, Kurta completed his residency training in urology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Department of Urology in Memphis, Tenn.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, N.Y., he earned his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He was a clinical research fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Department of Urologic Oncology in New York City.
He is a member of the American Urological Association.
Kurta is practicing in association with Paul R. Mailhot, M.D., and physician assistant Heather Renihan. The Central Maine Urology Center is at 287 Main St., Suite 404, in Lewiston. The practice can be reached at 795-2171.
