The Girl Brothers will perform at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Turner Community Gazebo, as part of the Music for Mavis series. The Girls include Dr. Becky Law and Carolyn Viger from Turner, Diane Rines from Greene, Kelly Burke from Freeport, Holly Bowman West Gardiner, and Jeanne Roublier from Harrison. The toe-tapping time is promised. Attendees are urged to bring bring a chair, bring a blanket and a friend. Suggested donation is $5, but any amount is welcome. The gazebo is located in front of the Leavitt Institute Building in Turner Center.
