CHESTERVILLE — A Fayette man was injured Monday night when his car hit a utility pole and rolled onto its roof on Ridge Road.
State Police Trooper Keith Barton responded to an accident reported by a passer-by at about 10:45 p.m., Trooper William Plourde said Tuesday.
When police arrived, the driver was not around, he said. James Dodge, 52, had walked a short distance down the road to a relative’s house and the relative drove him back to the scene, he said.
Dodge received a minor bump to his forehead and some scratches, Plourde said.
The car was heavily damaged, he said.
