JAY — Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1949 of Rumford will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at LaFleur’s.
Bocci tournament announced
RUMFORD — The annual boccie tournament that pits Sons of Italy of Rumford against Granite State Lodge of New Hampshire will be held Sunday, Aug. 18. Terry Umbro needs to know by Friday, Aug. 16, who will go. Call him at 364-8523.

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1945 will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Chicken Coop.

Red Hat Mommas to attend lunch
LIVERMORE — Red Hat Mommas of Western Maine went to the King’s Hill Inn in South Paris for a tea on July 24. Two birthday were celebrated.
The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Carriage House in Livermore. They will leave from the Dixfield Post Office at 5 p.m.
Four choices will be offered: fish, beef, chicken or vegetarian. Pay on your own. Contact Isabel before Friday, Aug. 23, at 562-4241.
