On Friday, Aug. 16, People From Earth will perform at Guthries in Lewiston. People from Earth is an Auburn and Portland-based funk band. They play a mix of originals and cover tunes from artists such as: Aretha Franklin, James Brown,Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Herbie Handcock and many others.
