HALLOWELL — An Augusta teenager suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Abby Wormell, 17, had run a stop sign at the intersection of Blaine Road and Maple Street and was struck by a vehicle driven by Steven Marson, 57, of Pittson, according to Hallowell police Chief Eric Nason.

After Wormell’s Toyota and Marson’s Dodge collided, Marson’s vehicle veered off to the left and struck a residence at 29 Maple Lane, Nason said. The impact also forced Wormell’s vehicle into a third car driven by Nancy Armentrout, 55, of Farmingdale.

The home Marson’s vehicle struck wasn’t heavily damaged, according to Nason, while Wormell was taken to MaineGeneral Hospital in Augusta for minor injuries, the chief said.

Marson and Armentrout were not injured and did not require medical attention.
