Seniors may sign up for fair, show trips

PERU —  The Neighborly Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the old Peru School House. Sign-up sheets for the bus trip to Fryeburg Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 1, will be available, also for the Christmas Show at Indian Head Resort on Sunday, Dec. 8.

The cost for the fair is $10 and the Christmas show is $59. Donna Boucher will give a talk on healthy eating and healthy cooking.

High school class to meet at restaurant

RUMFORD —  Stephens High School Class of 1946 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the River Valley Grill for the monthly luncheon.

Legion to hold supper to honor Holmes

DIXFIELD —  A supper to honor John Holmes will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at American Legion Post 100, 18 River Lane.
