FARMINGTON — South Street will be closed to traffic on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 26 and 27, due to the geothermal project at the University of Maine at Farmington.
Sod installation previously was planned for Aug. 19 and 20, but Mantor Green was not ready and the street remained open.
The new dates for sod installation means the street will need to be closed during these work days, according to Ben Pratt, director of facilities management at UMF.
