1945 – 2013

LEWISTON — Paula T. Ginnett- Temple, 68, of Augusta, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24 , at Montello Manor in Lewiston with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on June 18, 1945, a daughter of the late Paul J. and Irene T. (Gamache) Thibodeau. She grew up in Auburn and Durham. She graduated from Edward Little. She spent many a summer at Taylor Pond and enjoyed the time she spent there with her family. Paula was known as a hard working woman, working in various factories for years. Supporting and raising her young family in Auburn. She lived in Bath for 26 years then retired in Augusta. She truly enjoyed the outdoors. She was particularly fond of fishing, gardening, camping and picking berries. She enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren, and her numerous friends.

Paula is survived by her children, Dana Ginnett of Augusta, Diane Whitmore and soul mate, Allan Whitmore, of Green; grandchildren Joseph Ginnett of Green and Desiree Ginnett of Richmond; brothers, Alan Thibodeau and wife, Ginny, of Lisbon, Wayne Thibodeau and wife, Ruth Ann, of Brunswick; a sister, Lola Charron and husband, Dave, of Topsham; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staffs of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice as well as Montello Manor for the care, dedication and devotion to Paula in her final days.
