EUSTIS — A soccer net was cut at the Stratton Elementary School soccer field.
Franklin County Deputy Colt Sleaster responded to a call reporting vandalism on Monday morning, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said.
It was reported that a group of people had camped out on the soccer field. At about 2:30 a.m. Monday, some youths started throwing rocks at the campers, Nichols said. It was later discovered that one of the soccer nets had been cut.
