The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours in August was hosted by The United Way of the Tri-Valley Area on Broadway in Farmington.

The festive jungle-theme event was well attended by United Way advocates, and Chamber members, and local businesspeople. Those attending had the opportunity to be part of the 2013-14 Annual Campaign kick off and meet Volunteer Campaign Chair Ken Lust, who spoke about the important impact that the United Way makes in our local communities.

UWTVA Executive Director Lisa Laflin was presented with a Governor’s Award for Service and Volunteerism by Senator Tom Saviello.
