LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Children’s Foundation is accepting grant requests for the 2013 fiscal year.

The foundation annually awards grants to individuals and organizations whose programs directly benefit children in the community.

Some of the 2012 grant recipients were the Community Little Theater summer youth program, New Beginnings, St. Mary’s Nutrition Center and the Regional Education Treatment Center’s indoor garden project.

Requests should be submitted no later than Oct. 15 to the Lewiston Auburn Children’s Foundation, PO Box 7155, Lewiston ME 04243-7155. For more information, call Gretchen Rosen at 782-9442.
