YARMOUTH — Joyce A. Lamb, 84, of West Paris, died at Brentwood Center on Monday, Aug. 26.
She was born in Buckfield on Nov. 8, 1928, to Wendell and Nina Doble Allen. She married Newton Lamb in 1947; Newton died in 1998.
Joyce is survived by her six children, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Surviving are Joseph, Micki and Leighton Lamb of Athens, Ohio; Judith Lamb and Robert Collins of Lamoine; Nina, Robert, Joshua and Emily Hyssong of South Portland; Kyra, Gene and Molly Flaherty of Sabattus; Kelly, Cameron, Nicolas, Sophia and Weston Hartley of Auburn; Allen and Myrna Lamb of Park City, Utah; Amber Lamb, Fort Collins, Colo.; Aaron and Maureen Lamb of Albuquerque, N.M.; Margaret Lamb and Michael Seaton of Augusta; Kenneth Lamb of West Paris; Kenneth, Caleb, Kyle, Catherine and Carolyn Lamb of South Paris; and Wendy Lamb and Willis Hayes of Athens, Ga.
She is also survived by sisters, Cynthia Lamb and Ethelyn Turner of South Paris. Their brother, Glendon Allen of Buckfield, died in 2006.
