1932 – 2013
LEWISTON — Robert J. Coulombe, 80, of Lewiston, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
He was born in Brunswick on Dec. 22, 1932, the son of Napoleon and Mildred (Claugherty) Coulombe. He attended schools in Brunswick and later served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He worked for many years at Quinco Fabrics, until his retirement. Robert was an avid fan of the Patriots and enjoyed bowling, bingo, camping and being with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie (Graves) Coulombe, whom he married on Dec. 31, 1966; his daughters, Anita Rousseau and husband, Dennis, of Lewiston, Sandra Picard of Lewiston, Debra Coulombe and companion, Lee Brown, of Mechanic Falls and Diana Bernier and companion, Andrew Michaud, of Lewiston; his grandchildren, Ashley and Sadie Picard, Heather Coulombe, Emily and Lindsey Rousseau, Reah and Deedee Zeah and Casey Bernier; and his great-grandchildren, Kaiden Frost, Adriannah Laurinaitis and Kylee Baroudi.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Tricia Picard; and several brothers and sisters.
