STATEWIDE — Forte International Exchange Association is seeking host families for international students, ages 15-18 years old, learn English and experience American culture in the United States. Families are needed to host for a semester (five months) or full year (10 months).

Students come from about 20 countries such as Europe, Asia and South America. These students have already learned English for many years in their native countries. They need an opportunity to practice and improve their English in the United States.

All students went through a personal interview, passed the standardized English testing and obtained good grades in their native countries. In addition, all the international students have medical insurance and their own pocket money. They have skills and interests in sports, arts, painting and really want to be part of the American high school spirit they hear so much about.

The students are also very eager to share their own culture, and at the same time they will learn lots of American culture here.

More information is available at www.forteexchange.org. FIEA is a nonprofit organization designated by the U.S. State Department to engage in exchange programs.
