LEWISTON — Doris C. Rioux, 86, of Upland Road, Lisbon, died Sunday, Sept. 1, at Central Maine Medical Center, with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Hudson, Mass., on Jan. 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Leo and Audrey (Gagnon) Lerette. When she was 15, she had her own radio show on local radio, where she loved to sing.

Doris was a waitress for many years at local restaurants, and she worked for many years at Willie’s in Lisbon. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Lisbon Falls. Doris’ passion was her family; she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them, especially family game night. She also enjoyed her crossword puzzles.

She leaves a daughter, Linda Webber of Lisbon; three sons, David Rioux and wife, Diane, of Kentucky, Rick Rioux and wife, Gwen, of Lisbon Falls and Scott Rioux and wife, Lori, of Durham; a sister, Gloria Donohue of Lewiston; a brother, Raymond Lerette and wife, Lois, of Bowdoinham; 10 grandchildren, Dawn, Bonnie, Robbie, Christina, David Jr., Matthew, Nathan, Brandon, Kelsie-Mae and Katelyn; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Debbie Chaisson; and a sister, Claire Allard.
