LEWISTON — A fireworks display will be held at Bates College on Friday, Sept. 6, as part of events welcoming students for the academic year.
The display is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. over Lake Andrews, between College and Russell streets. Produced by Central Maine Pyrotechnics, the show is expected to last less than 30 minutes.
The college announces such displays out of consideration for its neighbors.
