WILTON — The Good Shepherd Food-Bank’s foodmobile will distribute about 7,000 pounds of food from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at the Wilton United Methodist Church.
The foodmobile will set up in the church parking lot at 600 Main St. to provide fresh produce, meats, essential non-perishable items and breads. Anyone in need of emergency food assistance in Wilton and the surrounding area is welcome.
The foodmobile program expands outreach to Maine’s neediest and most underserved families. It goes to communities where demand has outgrown the capacity of local food pantries.
