Andre Demers and
Daphne Gerard
AUBURN — Announcement is made of the engagement of Daphne Watson Gerard and Andre Treakle Demers, both of South Portland.
Miss Gerard is the daughter of John Gerard and Julie Gerard of Brunswick. She is a 2010 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is employed as a pre-school teacher at Woodfords Family Services in Westbrook.
Mr. Demers is the son of Normand and Kathleen Demers of Auburn. He is a 2010 graduate of St. Anselm College with a bachelor’s degree in English. He is employed as head teller at TD Bank in Falmouth.
Their wedding is planned for January in Brunswick.
