LEWISTON — Volunteer opportunities are available at Advocates for Children:

Playgroup Pals, Mondays and/or Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Volunteers  interact with parents and their children, read children’s stories, follow a routine and model appropriate expectations for children.

Music Mondays, Mondays from 2 to 3 p.m. Volunteers share music with young children and play the piano or another instrument.

Rhyme, Rhythm and Repetition, Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. Volunteers lead literature-based activities and spend time with young children and their parents.

Fun Fitness, Thursdays from 2 to 3 p.m. Volunteers help young children develop gross motors skills through games, exercises and activities.

Nurturing Children, Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. This is for those interested in playing games, reading and spending quality time with children.
