1920 – 2013

SOUTH PARIS — Wilfred D. Heath Jr., 92, passed away at his home after a brief illness while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

He was born on Oct. 30, 1920, to Wilfred and Etta Belle Heath in Sumner. He was married to Arline Judkins and they shared 47 happy years together, until her death in 1993.

Willie worked as a ship builder, a mechanic for 25 years and as the owner/operator of Twin Town Radiator for 25 years. He was well known to many as “the radiator man.”

He was an avid snowmobiler and a member of the SnoHoppers Club for many years; he and Arline spent countless hours grooming trails. He also loved dancing and was still dancing right up until the time of his illness.

He is survived by his daughter, Trudy Truman, and his son, Barry Heath. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Tara Manchester (Byron), Chad Truman (Jodi), Todd Truman (Becky), Toby Heath (Jodie) and bonus grandson, Charles Truman (Christine); great-grandchildren, Danielle Hodgson (Mike), Courtney Truman, Kaitlynn Daigle, Tyler Truman, Sydney Truman, Logan Truman, MacKenzie Truman, Paityn Truman, Findley and Reagan Heath, as well as bonus great-granddaughters, Celeste and Chloe Truman, and great-great-grandson, Tayge Lewis; his sister-in-law, Pat Nedeau (Andrew), and brother-in-law, George Judkins (Jo); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; a brother, Paul; mother-in-law, Louise Hewins; father-in-law, Harold Judkins; brother-in-law, John Judkins; sisters-in-law, Carrie Judkins and Nancy Gero; and daughter-in-law, Ellie Heath.
