RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Thomas J. Buotte Jr., was celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, at Parish of the Holy Savior.
The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “Ave Maria,” “Amazing Grace” and “Fly Like A Bird.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by daughter-in-law, Debbie Buotte. The New Testament was proclaimed by daughter, Donna Wiggin. Offertory gifts were presented by brother, Bill Buotte, and brother-in-law, Eugene Waugh. Personal reflections were shared by granddaughter, Jennifer Buotte. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. Pallbearers were grandsons, Jason Buotte and Ben Clark, and nephews, Derek Waugh and Russell Waugh.
A reception followed at the American Legion. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
