SALEM, N.H. (AP) — Police have arrested a woman who they believe may have shoplifted more than $100,000 of merchandise from malls in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jennifer Santos of Lawrence, Mass., has been charged in a series of shoplifting crimes at Northshore Mall in Peabody, Mass.
Authorities have said the thefts were likely related to other thefts at a mall in Salem.
WMUR-TV reports that police believe Santos tended to steal items from Victoria’s Secret and Sephora and she may also have been hitting Abercrombie & Fitch stores. Police do not believe she was working alone.
It was not immediately known if Santos was being represented by a lawyer.
