HOUSTON — Robert Giasson, formally from Norway, Maine, has been chosen to teach Latin at Baylor College of Medicine at Ryan, Houston.
Baylor College of Medicine at Ryan is the first of its kind in the U.S. educating middle school students who are exploring pathways in the health and biomedical sciences.
Giasson is the son of Rose Giasson of Norway and the grandson of Frantie Giasson of Waterford. He was a 2004 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, taking extensive foreign language courses. He attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned his bachelor of arts degree in classics in May 2008. After graduating cum laude, he earned a master of arts degree in teaching at Rice University in Houston.
