Tax bills in Phillips are an outrage!

Three days before tax bills arrived, it was decided that our roads are unsafe?

We’ve been losing cars in potholes for years. No appreciable work has been done on the Pinkham Hill Road since Road Commissioner Steve Haines retired 10 years ago.

Isn’t this a strange time to be thinking about our “safety” since state road assistance for Phillips’ roads is $556,000 less than last year?

Where were they in past years when more money was allocated?

What will the money grab be next year?
