STRONG — Public memorial graveside services for Hugh L. Targett were held Saturday morning, Sept. 14, at the Village Cemetery, with the Rev. David Simpson officiating.

His son, Randy, on behalf of the Targett family, read a poem. Full military honors were provided by Camp Keyes, Augusta. At the conclusion of his service, each of his grandchildren received one of “Grampa’s” coffee mugs, filled with fresh flowers.

Following service, all were invited to the Targett home for a time of fellowship and remembrance. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center in Farmington.
