LEWISTON — You can help supply needed warmth for kids in need while enjoying an all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper hosted by The Knights of Columbus, Council 10019, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the Holy Family Hall, 607 Sabattus St.

Providing more than 200 coats to area school children, last year’s event was remarkably successful. With the public’s help, they are hopeful to repeat or exceed those results. The money raised will be used to purchase the proper sizes for those students in need with information obtained from area school nurses. The coats will then be delivered to each school. Many of the kids are so grateful that they are reluctant to remove their new shells of warmth inside the classroom.
