1948 – 2013

SOUTH PARIS — Jackie Stoutamyer, 64, of South Paris, passed to spirit on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

She was born Sept. 21, 1948, in Bangor, to Ruth (Getchell) and Philip Harris. She graduated with the Class of 1966 from Skowhegan High School and completed three plus years through the University of Maine System.

On August 18, 1967, she married Frank L. Stoutamyer, who survives. Together they had a son Todd and a daughter Jill. Mere words cannot begin to express Jackie’s love, admiration, and appreciation to them for gracing her life and for the love, care and support that enhanced her life.

Surviving are son, Todd (Sheila) Stoutamyer of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Jill (Linwood) Houghton of Gorham; grandsons, Cole Houghton, Ryan Stoutamyer, Ross Stoutamyer; granddaughter, Cady Houghton; sister, Gretchen (Scott) Ramsay of York Harbor and Bonita Springs, Fla.; sister, Rebecca (Richard) Vaillancourt of Brunswick; brother-in-law, George (Carol) Stoutamyer of Madison; brother-in-law, Robert Stoutamyer of Madison; and sister-in-law, Iris Blaisdell of Norridgewock. Also surviving are her beloved dogs Grace and Miley many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear, lifelong friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and three precious dogs, Ayla, Higgins and Abby.
