1960 – 2013

GARDINER — Janice R. Spear, March 4, 1960 to Sept. 13, 2013. Born in Lisbon Falls, may she rest in peace.

If you are reading this, we have lost our beloved sister to her fight with cancer. It’s been a hard fight, but she always tried to have a positive outlook and dress up pretty even when she knew inside she was being overtaken by an incurable disease. A challenge that even she could not conquer.

She lived in the Nashua, N.H., area for the past 30 years, working in the computer industry and later moving into IT as a solutions analyst, where she worked for many large corporations and health systems. She loved the work she did and the people she helped. Wherever in the country her skills were needed, she would go! A true career woman and a loving friend to those who knew her.

She sadly leaves behind her seven siblings, Rodney Spear, Donna and Chuck McNally, Pam Spear, Elaine and Rick Knight, Richard Spear, Brenda and Wesley Spear Jr., and Phyllis and Bill Orvatiz; her father, Wesley Spear; and nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, many cousins and many friends.
