RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Rita Towle was celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at Parish of the Holy Savior.
The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “How Great Thou Art,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Softly and Tenderly” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Debbie Gurney. The New Testament was proclaimed by Christopher McKenna. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Elaine McKenna. Offertory gifts were presented by Katie and Paul, and Addy and Isla Dubois. Personal reflections were shared by Janice McKenna.
Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Corey McKenna, Chris McKenna, Pat Gaudin and Nate Gaudin. A reception was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
