AUBURN — Director Adam P. Blais of Leeds has announced the cast and crew of Community Little Theatre’s first show of its 74th season, Joseph Kesselring’s classic comedy “Arsenic and Old Lace.” The show opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the Great Falls Performing Arts Center, 30 Academy St. It will run for two weekends.

The show’s assistant director is Sabrina Yokono of Lewiston. Playing the leading roles of the show’s spinster aunts, “Abby Brewster” and “Martha Brewster” are Andrea Quaid and Vicki Machado. Mitchell Clyde Thomas is playing the role of “Jonathan Brewster” and Sean Wallace plays “Dr. Einstein” his sidekick.

Gregory Charette is in the role of Brewster brother “Teddy” and Eric Brakey plays the youngest brother “Mortimer.” Amanda Martin returns to the CLT stage as “Elaine Harper,” Mortimer’s fiancée. Paul G. Caron, frequent musical director at CLT and director of a previous production of the same show, plays the hilarious role of “Officer O’Hara.” George Sheckart returns to CLT after a long break to play the roles of “Rev. Dr. Harper” and “Lt. Rooney.” Henrik Strandskov will fill the roles of both “Mr. Gibbs” and “Mr. Witherspoon.”

James McKinely and Tyler Pulk round out the talented cast in the roles of “Officer Klein” and “Officer Brophy.” Stefanie Lynn is the producer and Melody Driscoll is the show’s prompter. Phil Vampatella, Bill Hamilton and Glenn Thibeault are building the set and Carol Hodgkin and Glynnis Nadel are handling scenic décor. Brandon Chaloux is the stage manager.
