DEAR SUN SPOTS: Montello Heights is having a fall festival and craft fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Oct. 19, at 550 College St., Lewiston.

We are looking for individuals who would like to participate. The cost is $10 per table and a raffle prize for our raffle table or if they provide their own table, the cost would be $5 per table and a raffle prize.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Preparations are being made for the annual Homemade for the Holidays Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, 455 Linnell St.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The North Yarmouth Academy Parents’ Association will host the annual holiday craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in North Yarmouth Academy’s gymnasium (154 Main St.) and Safford Center cafeteria (148 Main St.) in Yarmouth.

This annual event is held in conjunction with a townwide holiday celebration. More than 60 vendors from across the state will present a diverse variety of crafts including artwork, photography, jewelry, candles, soap, alpaca products, blown glass, woodworking and much more.

Enjoy a sit-down lunch at the NYA Cafe and listen to holiday music by the NYA Chorus. Money raised from booth rental fees will help support NYA teacher grant requests.

Space for crafters is limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis in 10- by 5-foot lots at a cost of $100 each. Crafters who participated last year are guaranteed a space in the same room as the previous year if the registration form is postmarked by Oct. 15.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: A few weeks ago you printed a letter about our craft fair to benefit Make a Wish that we are holding from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Pepsi Facility, 191 Merrow Road, Auburn. Thanks to you we were able to fill the few remaining openings that we had for tables. 

We would like to remind everyone about our fundraiser. Also, Rite Aid will be here from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offer flu shots. We have more than 30 raffle prizes donated by our vendors and are offering free T-shirts to the first 50 people through the door after 9 a.m. and of course free Pepsi fountain drinks while you shop.
