1917 – 2013
CANTON — Mae H. Turnbull, 96, a lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Victorian Villa in Canton.
She was born in Mexico, on June 14, 1917, a daughter of John and Julia (Crosby) Turnbull, and graduated from Mexico High School Class of 1934.
Mae was employed at Boise Cascade Paper Company in Rumford for over 42 years until retirement from the Accounting Department.
She was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius — St. John Church; a member of the 25 & 40 Year Club of Boise Cascade Paper Company; she enjoyed a quiet life and especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include brother, John Turnbull and wife, Faylene, of Rumford; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Howard Turnbull and wife, Dorothee, and Tommy Turnbull and wife, Lois.
