St. Cyr

LEWISTON — A surprise party was held recently for Ray and Anita St. Cyr of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Party hosts were John and Jessica St. Cyr, son and daughter-in-law of the couple. The event was held at their home in Lewiston.

Mrs. St. Cyr received a corsage of miniature pink carnations and Mr. St. Cyr wore a boutonniere of miniature pink carnations.

Mr. St. Cyr and the former Anita Rodrigue were married on Aug. 10, 1963, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. They have two sons, John and Marcel St. Cyr. Their grandchildren are Justin St. Cyr, Kim (St. Cyr) Le and Kelsey and Megan St. Cyr.

Mrs. St. Cyr owned and operated Friendship Coiffeur Hair Salon for 37 years, retiring in 2011. She is a parishoner at Prince of Peace Parish.

Mr. St. Cyr worked at Pioneer Plastics for 38 years, retiring in 2003. He is also a member of Prince of Peace Parish.

Original wedding attendants present were Marcel Rodrigue and Claire (Girouard) Cyr.
