SOUTH PARIS — William D. Harvey, 78, died Friday, Sept. 27, at the Maine Veteran’s Home in South Paris.

He was born on July 23, 1935, in Boston, Mass., to Leon Russell and Flora Douglas Harvey. He worked for years for the Portland Public Works Department. He belonged to Unity Lodge of the IOOF.

He survived his wife, Geraldine Oliver Harvey; and is survived by children, Russell and Jennifer; and their spouses, Dori Chadbourne and Al DeLuca; two grandchildren, Savanna Harvey and Alton DeLuca; and by siblings; Ann McGraw of Brenham, Texas, and Robert Harvey of Marshfield, Mass.
