AUBURN — The First Auburn Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Hasty Community Center. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m.

A food auction will follow the meeting.

Because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, members are asked to wear something pink.

Meal tickets will be on sale for the Oct. 16 Halloween party and costume parade. Cost is $5.

Attendance at the Sept. 18 meeting was 58. Bob Berry and Annie Demers won the attendance drawing. Pot of gold winners were Millie Brainerd, Suzanne Blanchard and Ellie Rolerson. The special drawings were won by Sue Patneaude, Joan Webb and Nancy Duprey.

Representative Connie Jones from SeniorsPlus spoke about the Aging Well-Living Well Expo to be held Friday, Oct. 4, at the Sunday River Conference Center.
