Dunneman concert Oct. 6

DIXFIELD — Dixfield Plains Church of the Nazarene, 171 Weld St., will host a gospel concert with the Dunnemans Music Ministry at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.

Reg and Gretchen Dunneman sing their own special blend of gospel music, including southern gospel, traditional, hymn, classical, country and contemporary Christian styles.

Senior Citizen Fall Frolick

RUMFORD — Oxford County Sheriff’s Office Senior Citizen Fall Frolick will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Rumford Eagles Club.

The event is free. There will be cider, coffee and doughnuts, lunch and dessert, door prizes, musical entertainment and nickel bingo.

‘Green Church’ public supper

MEXICO — A public supper will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Mexico Congregational United Church of Christ (the “Green Church”), 163 Main St.

The menu will include Italian chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies and homemade pies. The cost for adults is $8 and $3 for children under 12. Take-outs will be available after 5:30; call 364-8603.

Cemetery requests item removal

PERU — The Demerritt Cemetery Association requests that all ornamental items be removed from the lots by Oct. 18. Fall decorations may be left on, but must be picked up by Nov. 15.
