JAY — A boil-water order was been lifted Wednesday for Jay Village Water District customers affected by water pipe breaks, Superintendent Mike Wells said.
The order was issued to customers Tuesday. It was the second boil-water order in the past couple of weeks.
The district has had a series of waterline breaks in the Smith Avenue area over the past couple of weeks. The most recent break occurred Sunday.
Water samples were brought to Augusta to be tested.
