YORK — Authorities say two men recently arrested in Maine on burglary charges may be linked to a burglary in New Hampshire.

Police said George Sproul of Lmington and Harley Herman of Sanford, both 20, were arrested last weekend on three counts of burglary and receiving stolen property. Most of the burglaries are believed to have taken place on or about Sept. 20. During one, they encountered a homeowner armed with a firearm.

Police said items taken include firearms, a pickup truck, an ATV, computers, TVs and jewelry.

Police say Sproul and Herman are suspects in a burglary in Alton Bay, N.H., in which a pickup truck, ATV, and firearm were stolen. All items were recovered in Limington.

The two are being held at the York County Jail on $15,000 bail.
