CANTON — Funeral services for Jacqueline E. “Jackie” Conant, 68, of Canton, were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at the United Baptist Church in Canton, with family friend, the Rev. Eva Thompson, officiating.

Speakers at the service who offered both personal and professional reflections were Lisa Phelps, Priscilla Campbell-Wyman, Harold Brown, Scott Kilbreth and Don Hutchins. Valerie Messana was the pianist for the service and granddaughter, Jillian Conant, offered a solo of “His Eye on the Sparrow,” while all those in attendance sang “Amazing Grace.” Jackie’s three sons, John, Tony and Andy Conant and grandson, Justin Conant, served as the pallbearers.

After the service, a time of fellowship and refreshment was held at the Canton Fire Station. Committal services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Canton Point Cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 42 Weld St., Dixfield.
