NAPLES — The scary thing about Leavitt’s 62-0 Western Class C football rout of Lake Region is that it probably could have been worse.

It’s the second straight week the Hornets have won by that score. Leavitt (5-0) turned it over twice and had a pair of touchdowns called back due to penalties. And the second half was played with a running clock.

Around all that, Leavitt rolled up a staggering 690 yards of total offense while holding Lake Region (2-3) to 40 yards and three first downs.

Conor O’Malley rushed eight times for 150 yards, including touchdowns of 4 and 34 yards. Nate Coombs had 105 yards and a touchdown run, while Sam Green had three receptions from Tyler Chicoine for 125 yards and a score.

Chicoine was 8-for-15 through the air for 225 yards. He also hooked up with Adam Poulin for a 15-yard TD. Poulin earlier ran one in from 3 yards out.

Nate Rousseau rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Billy Bedard capped the scoring with a 15-yard run.
