I believe that most Americans do not want a government shutdown but, as usual, members of the U.S. Congress did the opposite. The arrogance of a handful of politicians who have the power to shut down America is unbelievable.

Term limits are needed to counter those career politicians. Most of them retire as millionaires with a golden parachute.

The voting public can make a change. We need to give them hell at the ballot box.
