Funeral services for James A. Taylor, of Mexico, were conducted at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin Street, Rumford, with his grandson, Jason Arsenault, officiating. Words of remembrance were given by his daughter, Jeanne Magyar. Scripture reading from the Book of John was given by his grandson, Nathan Gould. Pallbearers were Nathan Gould, Dana Bartlett, Kyle and Christopher Arsenault, Duayne Jodrey and George Cassidy. Committal services were conducted by grandson, Jason Arsenault. Interment was in the Farrington–Morton Cemetery, Mexico. A reception followed at the American Legion in Rumford.
