PORTLAND — Pauline I. Ayotte, 78, of Oxford, passed away on Friday, Oct. 11, at Maine Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born in Springvale on July 17, 1935, the daughter of Romeo and Alice Holmes Page. She married Donald J. Ayotte and was a homemaker all of her life.
Pauline enjoyed bingo, her family and her cats. She loved to eat out and would go with anyone who would take her. She was generous with many charities.
She is survived by her children, Vincent Ayotte and wife, Lori, Kevin Ayotte, Dean Ayotte and wife, Kim, Wayne Ayotte and his fiancé, Caroline Brown, and Angela McNelly and her husband, Ed; 14 grandchildren, James, John, Tyler, Cameron, Toni Jean, Eric, Drew, Travis, Caitlin, Kyle, Taylor, Kurtis, Megan and Nicholas; a brother, Rene Page; and a sister, Clair Bernier.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1999; a brother; and two sisters.
