1948 – 2013

LEWISTON — Linda D. Allen, 65, of Auburn, died unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 11, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston on May 29, 1948, the daughter of Rudolph and Katherine (Scott) Allen; and her stepmother, Dorothy Allen and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 1966. She was employed in the local shoe industry and then became a homemaker.

Linda enjoyed knitting, making puzzles, watching movies and playing computer games.

She is survived by three sons, Carl Hebert and his wife, Beth, of Auburn, Donnie Harvey and his wife, Heather, of Oxford, and Maurice Hebert and his wife, Priscilla, of Hebron; one daughter, Diana Nash and her husband, Charles D., of Fort Polk, La.; five grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Zach, Sara and John John; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Bobbiejo; and a close friend, Leo Girardin.

She was predeceased by her brother, Larry Delano.
