LEWISTON — Zimmie’s Comics celebrated the official grand reopening and return to 197 Main St. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, among family, friends and dedicated clientele.
The store specializes in comic books, graphic novels, trade paperbacks, role-playing and board games, dice, collectibles and apparel.
Located in the same space it occupied from 1999 to 2009, the store is under new ownership with Daniel Bailey managing day-to-day operations while founder Joe Loubier will serve as co-owner.
A Lewiston High School and University of Southern Maine graduate, Bailey spent his high school and college years working and volunteering at the shop learning the nuances of customer service and how to make a store succeed.
Zimmie’s Comics is open Monday, Tuesday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
